What is MeiQ?

It's like an "action-adventure movie".
Five girls explore mysterious dungeons and
fight evil, just like Indiana Jones.

"Duty", "fate", "rivalry", "friendship", "bonds", "betrayal",
"revenge", "conspiracy", "schemes", "traps", "mystery", "life", "death"...

The girls face many trials, and grow in the process.
That is "Death Under the Labyrinth".
The girls will face the greatest trial of their lives.

This RPG is about a grand adventure.

Charms of MeiQ

There are many, but I'll discuss the ones that people
may find the most interesting.

The first is customization.

In this game, you can customize robots called Guardians,
and they will fight as your partners.

I worked on the "Metal Max" series before,
games where you could customize tanks.

In this game, the tanks are now robots,
and you can customize them to an extreme degree.

Another interesting point are the dual battles with your
customized Guardians, and magical girls (Machina Mages).

If the relation between Guardians and the girls is put in
terms of Metal Max, it's like tanks and humans.

However, while the systems are similar, they're also very different.

There is no magic in Metal Max, but in this game, magic
allows one to do nearly anything.

The magic cast by the girls defies logic and reason,
and goes far beyond the relative realism of Metal Max.

Making good use of this super power called magic,
the already powerful Guardians become brutally strong,
crushing enemies with ease.

Please enjoy the thrill of mowing down your foes.

Point of Interest

The greatest dish should be eaten in the greatest of conditions.

"I spent so much time grinding to learn this new skill,
but I can only use it once in a fight!?"

This happens often in RPGs.

The more powerful the attack, the less times you can use it, or the more restrictive the conditions are to use it.

This is usually a method developers take to balance the game.

But if you're going to eat something delicious, you'd want to have your fill, wouldn't you?

In this game, the skills that Guardians use don't have things
like conditions to fulfill or use limits!
The game is balanced in ways that you don't see in other games.

Thus, you're able to use your strongest abilities to your heart's content!

You can eat your favorite dish until you've had your fill.

Feel free to taste as much of the great dish (your Guardian)
that you yourself cooked up.

Final Thoughts

This game is filled with many mysteries.

Obviously there are the gimmicks in each dungeon, but
there's also mystery in the story, characters, world setting, and even customization.

And of course, MeiQ itself is a mystery.
