A brave boy who sacrificed himself to save Little Mermaid.
As he lay dying, his anger about his own weakness attracted mysterious vines that transformed him into a Nightmare.

In this new form, he's unintelligible, but his kind heart remains to help support the Blood Maidens in battle. Despite his gentle nature, too much trauma can send him on a rampage, so he sticks close to Otsuu - the only one with whom he can communicate and be calmed.
