The Cursed Sword's Memory cannot be opened until you fulfill certain requirements. On the Ancient Memories screen, you will see a book with five jewels. Only one is emitting light, and the other four are dim.

Once all five gems shine, the ancient memories within the cursed sword will be available for you to experience.
