Former retainer of the Sanada family.
He was denied permission to join the exile to Mt. Kudo due to overcapacity and left the Sanada household, but he still admired the family from afar and rushed to rejoin upon hearing of Nobushige's uprising. Despite his rugged appearance, he is kind-hearted and emotional. He loves drinking and partying, and gets along well with Kamanosuke.
