Maaya Uchida Role: Catarina Claes

How do you feel now that recording is over?

I recorded the 2nd season of the "My Villainess" anime, and then the game back-to-back. Honestly, I'm a little shocked how much I recorded, haha. There were interactions with every character. I feel like it's rare for a game to have so much talking, and it gives me the same sense of accomplishment as running a marathon.

The other day I was listening to Yoshitsugu Matsuoka's segment on "My Next Life as a Radio Personality: All Routes Lead to Doom!", and he said, "After I finish recording a scene, my feelings tend to linger upon it. Then, when I do something related, those feelings reemerge," and I found that to be a very relatable sentiment. For me, I recorded for the other actors for each of their routes, which amplified my feelings even more. I would be in another recording and think to myself, "oh yeah, these two aren't in a relationship yet." It felt really strange. Recording a game in a parallel universe was a lot of fun, and I gained an even stronger understanding of the "My Villainess" world. It was fantastic.

What scenes should people pay attention to? What situations left a particular impression on you? Do you have a favorite?

As the title "Pirates of the Disturbance" suggests, many of the events unfold out on the open waters. The scenes that left the strongest impression were related to the new characters. Also, I don't think there have been many chances to explore romantic interactions with the others, besides Geordo, so I enjoyed watching their relationships develop. Like, you'd find yourself wondering how Geordo would react during Alan's route, right? All that included, you can see the ways in which different relationships could come to be. It was like watching puzzle pieces come together, each route very fitting to its character. Among them, Nicol's route was really special. How could you not fall for him, not want to support him? There were so many times I felt that way.

The story in this game will unfold on a luxury cruise liner. What kind of "luxuries" would you hope for if you were on one?

I would love to swim in a pool with a 360 degree view of the ocean, just floating there, leisurely watching the horizon.

Finally, a message for the fans anticipating the release of this game.

I think this game is perfect for both existing and soon to be fans of "My Villainess". There's so much to enjoy, so please give it a try!
The new characters are very attractive. Please get to know both Rozy and Silva.

As Keith puts it, Catarina has a tendency to draw others to her, and I believe her charm is one of the pillars of this game. In Keith's route you can see Catarina, overwhelmed by her surroundings, show new, adorable sides of herself. I believe the game will deliver a fresh new feel to the genre.

Shouta Aoi Role: Geordo Stuart

How do you feel now that recording is over?

I was excited throughout the whole recording process.
This time, the game is "Pirates of the Disturbance," and it provided a unique story, rather different from the original. I was very thankful to be part of it.

Please tell me, what is Geordo's biggest charm, and what is one thing you focused on for the role?

I say the charm in Geordo is the fact that he is Catarina's fiancé. Even with so many rivals, he never falters.
I end up thinking, "just how is he maintaining his mental health through all this?" but he's just that committed to Catarina. That, I feel, is charming.

This game explores the concepts of both romance and rivalry. There are moments you'll be moved, and moments you'll cry.
But there's also a perfect blend of comedy, as well. I think this beautiful balance is why the series is so popular.
In those circumstances, I really wanted to play around with the idea that Geordo's prince-like facade is starting to crumble, haha.
In scenes where Geordo was dealing with something outside his comfort zone, I would take a step back, and have some fun acting it out.

What scenes should people pay attention to? What situations left a particular impression on you? Do you have a favorite?

For Geordo, he has more rivals than ever, but it's hard to hate them when the new characters, Rozy and Silva, are just so cool. Just as the title "Pirates of the Disturbance" suggests, I think the pirates are the highlight of this game. Geordo had a battle scene in the anime as well, but in this game, he has an intense swordfight. Locked in combat with my opponent, I made sure to put lots of emotion into those scenes. I'm hoping it shows!

There were also many times in the other character's routes where I was moved, navigating those scenes as Geordo. You really can enjoy it all from so many angles. I hope everyone has a great time.

The story in this game will unfold on a luxury cruise liner. What would you want to do if you were on one?

I've played casino mini-games in a video game once, but never been to a real casino in person. I'd love to play at one on a big cruise ship, win big, and then eat and drink my fill with my friends. I believe those types of ships are also stocked with various instruments. If we were ever to go with the cast, I'd love to have a session with everyone.

Finally, a message for the fans anticipating the release of this game.

Wow, there's just so much to this game! In addition to all those who came before, there are new characters coming into the mix, too.
"Pirates of the Disturbance" will be filled with heart-pounding action, keeping you on the edge of your seat. It's hard to predict what will happen next. Please enjoy each and every character and immerse yourself in their world. This time, "My Villainess" is brought to you in an Otome game format. So much unfolds, and I encourage everyone to join in the fun! Thank you.

Tetsuya Kakihara Role: Keith Claes

How do you feel now that recording is over?

This sure was a voluminous project.
I played as Keith in the anime as well, but seeing the length of the script this time around, it was incredibly overwhelming.
But due to that, I feel I was really able to immerse myself in the role.

Please tell me Keith Claes' biggest charm, and what is one thing you focused on for the role?

I'm sure everyone's familiar with Keith's background but... He was raised in a good home. He's smart, kind, and truly loves his adoptive sister. But despite all of that, he still panics, gets giddy, and had lots of gags, as well. I hope I bring that charm out through my acting. I was very conscious of portraying his intelligence, but also revealing the flustered cracks in his armor.

What scenes should people pay attention to? What situations left a particular impression on you? Do you have a favorite?

I've tried to put my all into the comedic moments, in hopes to give the fans a giggle. Emphasizing both the comedic and mature moments, some new elements make it more over the top compared to the anime version, so I hope people will enjoy them.

The story in this game will unfold on a luxury cruise liner. What would you want to do if you were on one?

It's a dream of mine to take all of the actors and staff from my company on a staff trip. Even if I can't do a cruise around the world, it'd be nice to take them out for a week of relaxation. I think you can get just about anything on those types of ships, so I'd like to play the “My Villainess” movie in the ship’s cinema and do a cast talk there. What do you think?

Finally, a message for the fans anticipating the release of this game.

Sorry for the wait! I, Tetsuya Kakihara, have completed my mission to record Keith's lines!
I personally had fun acting him out and I'm confident I was able to show off Keith's lighter side in this game. All that's left is to leave it to the creator and staff. I know you'll all be in for something wonderful.

The game may be chock full of doom flags, but no doom awaits those who purchase it. Rather, you're certain to find flags of fun, so please look forward to it!

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka Role: Nicol Ascart

How do you feel now that recording is over?

The adventure this time takes place in game format, but the world was just an extension of the "My Villainess" world I knew. Despite its craziness, it was serious at times. And those serious moments in turn has casual elements, too.
In the game, each character has their own route, Nicol included. I have always wanted to see this kind of parallel world feel so I, personally, had a blast acting in this role.

Please tell me Nicol Ascart's biggest charm, and what is one thing you focused on for the role?

Nicol has a tendency to prioritize other people's feelings over his own. That is strength, but also what makes him so tragic.
And as we've seen in the original story, anime, and manga, Nicol has the tendency to make both men and women faint due to his devilish charms.

I think it's up to interpretation, but I feel that many people didn't see him as a normal person. Catarina was the first. It must be nice have someone who understands, and sees you for you, haha.

What scenes should people pay attention to? What situations left a particular impression on you? Do you have a favorite?

In the game, you'll see a side of Nicol you usually don't see.
Of course his core personality hasn't changed, but in Nicol's route, you'll get to see a cool new side to him.
But deep down, I think it's always been part of him. Should the opportunity arise, you could see it again, any time.
In that sense, I felt like this game really let me see something wonderful.

The story in this game will unfold on a luxury cruise liner. What would you want to do if you were on one?

Getting on a big cruise ship has always been a dream.
I've had a chance to ride a houseboat before, and it felt like, you know how there's no roads on the sea?
Even though you've set a route beforehand, once you're actually out there, you're free to follow it through as you like. The vast sea extends all around you, and you can spot islands from time to time. Some part of me really longs for that scenery. When I went under the Rainbow Bridge on that houseboat, I was so excited. If I were on a cruise ship, I'd want to roleplay the Titanic movie.
I wouldn't want to pressure the ladies, but perhaps with Mr. Kakihara, haha.

Finally, a message for the fans anticipating the release of this game.

I've played as Nicol for the game's various routes.
There were so many futures I'd imagined and hoped for, and I feel they're all portrayed within this game. Once you've finished watching it all, I'm confident you'll say, "whew, I'm stuffed!" To top it off, you'll have two new characters to enjoy, as well. Since they are part of the core story, in a sense, I would even say they're main characters. For the fans, I'm sure you're all wondering how Catarina would even build those relationships, but once you see, I'm sure you'll be satisfied. It's a complex, satisfying flavor. For the original four, you might be able to make a guess as to how things will go, but for the new ones, you won't even be able to do that! This is important, so I'm going to say it again: this game was made for all of you to say it's twice as delicious as anything you've ever had!

Kenichi Suzumura Role: Rozy Lind

How do you feel now that recording is over?

One day, I turned on my TV in the middle of the night, and it was playing "My Villainess" and I watched it. It felt odd, thinking I was going to join that world. To be honest, I was a little nervous going into the project, because I knew it was a preexisting franchise that even had an anime. Even though this was a spinoff with its own story, I was worried I might not be accepted into this world that already had a following. But all said and done, I had a blast recording, and I really enjoyed the world of "My Villainess".

Please tell me Rozy Lind's biggest charm, and what is one thing you focused on for the role?

Rozy is an extremely earnest, kind man. I think he's almost tragically so.
If the world were filled with pure people like him, it would never know war again. That's how he makes me feel.
I made sure to always keep that in mind when I acted. I know based off of his background, for those around him, he may seem to be lacking some core principles. But he, too, holds his own sense of duty. I tried to make sure that side of him came across.

What scenes should people pay attention to? What situations left a particular impression on you? Do you have a favorite?

Rozy has his own burdens, and often stresses about them.
After you play for awhile, you might start to think, "I know he's holding onto something, but what is it?" The moment everything becomes clear is rather cathartic. I hope you can determine what his burden may be by playing the game. Thus, I've no choice but to keep my favorite scene to myself, haha.

The story in this game will unfold on a luxury cruise liner. What would you want to do if you were on one?

I would love to travel the world on a luxury liner someday.
But I also know it's extremely expensive! Perhaps a lighter cruise, to start. Sometimes I imagine what I'd do on a cruise, and I'm certain I'd go to the casino. I feel like anyone would think of the casino when they think of a cruise liner. It's cliché, but I can't help it.
And I can also see myself saying, "this is so beautiful," listening to the classical music without understanding a thing about it. And then I'd go get wasted, haha.

Finally, a message for the fans anticipating the release of this game.

I am just thankful that I was able be part of such a major series.
This game will be set in a spin-off world, so those who are fans of the original or the anime will be sure to get a fresh new outlook.
For those who are experiencing it for the first time with the game, I hope you will take a peek at the anime, as well.
I hope everyone will enjoy this franchise in various media and worlds. Have fun!

Daisuke Namikawa Role: Silva

How do you feel now that recording is over?

There was a lot of dialogue, but Silva's casual character made the work much easier. He's the straightforward and honest type, so I had a lot of fun.

Please tell me Silva's biggest charm, and what is one thing you focused on for the role?

He's a pirate captain, so he speaks rather freely, haha.
On first impressions, he seems guarded and hard to approach, but once you get to know him, you'll find he's an easy person to deal with.
His charm is in the way he grows on you as you get to know him. That said, there's something immutable in him, too, something that never changes. Silva's different than your typical tsundere. He's very masculine, and yet he blushes from time to time, too! A truly new type of tsun.

What scenes should people pay attention to? What situations left a particular impression on you? Do you have a favorite?

Silva's position is one in which he's not actively hostile to the princes, but visually they are very much opposed.
There are scenes where we act and express those complex feelings.
In the end I think he's a very easy-to-read character. Still, it's those subtle moments where his attitude towards the princes shifts, those are the moments I want people to focus on. And of course, pay attention to the way he treats Catarina.
How will Silva change? For the better? For the worse? Those are the moments I want to shine.

The story in this game will unfold on a luxury cruise liner. What would you want to do if you were on one?

I've never been on a cruise so my only knowledge comes from movies, but it feels like a whole little town where you have everything you could want. I would set a goal to check out each and every little aspect of it.
Even if I wasn't too interested in something, I'd still want to try it out. I'd love to do an event on a cruise, too.
I'd love to board as a guest, but also dream of being part of the cast. If I had the opportunity, I'd love to give it a shot.

Finally, a message for the fans anticipating the release of this game.

I heard many people are a fan of this franchise so I am very curious how they will feel about my character. I'd like Silva to stir things up and make hearts flutter. I tried my best to portray Silva with natural confidence.
Were you to meet him in real life, things might not go so well, but because he's in a game, he's made to be fun. I hope everyone will come to love him.

Miho Okasaki Role: Mary Hunt

How do you feel now that recording is over?

I've had so many opportunities recording drama CDs or anime for "My Villainess", but this time it was for a video game, which came with a longer story. It was very refreshing. Personally, during my school days, I loved playing otome games. I am definitely one of the girls who daydreamed about these scenarios, and there were so many scenes where I felt if I played it, my heart would have been stolen.
Of course, as Mary, I am devoted to Catarina alone. But there's also a part of me that is just an ordinary woman, with a best boy of her own. Just as the subtitle "Pirates of the Disturbance" suggests, I am positive you will enjoy the events that unfold out on the open sea.

What scenes should people pay attention to? What situations left a particular impression on you? Do you have a favorite?

There are quite a few, but one that stood out to me is that, while we mention doom flags in the anime, the world is fairly peaceful. Catarina plowed through everything, proclaiming, "we'll figure it out."

However, in the "Pirates of the Disturbance", there are many moments of danger. Mary making use of her knowledge as a socialite, and talking with the girls is also a new side of her. I made sure to be careful with my tone and inflection, then.
I know this is vexing for Mary, but Lady Catarina has many sweet scenes with her love interests, so I am certain it will get your heart throbbing.

The story in this game will unfold on a luxury cruise liner. What kind of "luxuries" would you hope for if you were on one?

Of course, it has to be the food! I'd love to be surrounded by beautiful scenery as I eat delicious food.

Finally, a message for the fans anticipating the release of this game.

The original story took so much inspiration from otome games, but I never expected it to actually become one!
I'm sure there were plenty of fans who were waiting for this rendition. I count myself amongst them, and I'm very, very excited.
For anyone unfamiliar with the original, you will have no trouble diving right into this one. I'm excited to listen to the other cast member's acting, and hope everyone will be sucked right into this piratey alternate reality!

Inori Minase Role: Sophia Ascart

How do you feel now that recording is over?

I voiced Sophia for the first time in the "My Villainess" anime rendition. This time, I recorded for the game and seriously, the voice lines were more than double the anime. I was so excited for the opportunity and enjoyed recording. I was really happy to be part of this work along with the rest of the cast, old and new. All the characters around Catarina make the story that much more enjoyable. My goal was to keep up and ensure Sophia showcased herself as well.

What scenes should people pay attention to? What situations left a particular impression on you? Do you have a favorite?

It was really fun being able to act out stories that didn't come to pass in the anime.
In particular, I want everyone to pay close attention to my brother, and his search for a happily ever after.
Also, the actors who played the childhood versions of the male characters are very well known actors. Those who were hoping for more of them in the anime will be happy to find them here. I hope you enjoy their work as well.

The story in this game will unfold on a luxury cruise liner. What kind of "luxuries" would you hope for if you were on one?

I think you can eat food from all over the world, both morning and night. I had a dream that I could eat whatever I wanted for every meal, so I'd like to make that dream come true upon a cruise. I'd also love to stay in a room where I could see fish swimming by my window.

Finally, a message for the fans anticipating the release of this game.

In the game, the heroine is reincarnated as a Villainess while having to deal with Strategy Meetings and branching stories. For fans of the series, these aspects have probably been long awaited. Every character has their own spirits and personalities carefully explored, so that both fans of the "My Villainess" franchise, and new arrivals will both thoroughly enjoy it.
Please enjoy it, fully voiced, as you play through every episode and route!

Saori Hayami Role: Maria Campbell

How do you feel now that recording is over?

Finally, Catarina and her friends have jumped out of the anime world and into a video game. This is an original story, so I enjoyed going into recording and interacting with Catarina and others.

What scenes should people pay attention to? What situations left a particular impression on you? Do you have a favorite?

As a holder of light magic, in the game, Maria gets herself mixed up in some challenging situations. But despite the danger, she keeps true to her strong convictions. I thought that was so cool. There was also a scene where Catarina and Maria bond over Maria's homemade sweets. As a great display of the special bond between them, I thought it was very cute.

The story in this game will unfold on a luxury cruise liner. What kind of "luxuries" would you hope for if you were on one?

Since I love to eat, I would love to enjoy the food on the cruise.
I also think it would be fun to watch a live concert.

Finally, a message for the fans anticipating the release of this game.

The Otome Game version of "My Villainess" is finally being released.
Since the premise is a revival of a removed scene from a "FORTUNE LOVER" fanbook, all contents are unique to this game. Please come with a fresh outlook, and immerse yourself in the world of "My Villainess".
